As of right now, I’m a one woman show with the help of my husband, and a baby on the way!
I actually love all the nitty gritty details of the business, but there are some things that I just don’t have enough time for, that I know will help the business grow. This is where I’m hoping you come in.

Marketing Design Intern
Through meaningful lettering and design, our mission is to inspire a feeling of joy with each product and piece of content we produce, to ultimately point men and women to the true joy that is found in scripture.

Responsibilities for this role include (And may evolve over time):
Repurposing existing content for Pinterest (from blog posts, shop listings, social media posts, etc.)
Resizing/Reformatting shop images to optimal sizes for Pinterest
Designing a diverse set of graphics for each blog post and content piece to attract different audiences on Pinterest (some using images, some using primarily text, etc.)
Creating and posting pins multiple times a week using optimal keywords in the image file name and description
Designing monthly promotional emails based on new products and sales
Designing weekly “in case you missed it” Instagram stories showcasing that week’s posts, products, and sales
Your ultimate objective in this role is to increase traffic to our website and create a polished and organized feel for Naomi Paper Co.
You’re our dream Marketing Design Intern if you:
Possess strong design skills. You’ll easily repurpose and tweak Naomi’s existing graphics and content, keeping NPC’s heart and brand in mind, while also pushing the envelope to improve the quality of our brand.
You’re passionate about the idea of working for a faith-focused business and share our values.
Have experience (or ideally proficiency) in the following:
Resizing & saving images for web
Creating simple gif’s
Pinterest (know how to create original pins and edit pins)
You will not be asked to hand-letter anything. However, you should be able to manipulate and select parts of existing lettering, using Photoshop or Illustrator, for use in promotional materials.
Can take a job and run with it. Overall, you can troubleshoot, figure things out, and come up with ideas on your own without always needing explicit instructions from Naomi.
Get things done when you say you will without needing follow-up.
Love learning and growth. You’ll communicate with Naomi openly and honestly about challenges and are not afraid to ask questions. You’ll also humbly accept critique on designs when needed.
You’ll adhere to, set up, and continually improve our systems and file organization.
This job is for a remote, 1099 contracted position for approximately 3 months (with potential to continue after evaluation at end of period).
You will provide your own equipment and design programs. We will pay for Dropbox subscription if needed for the duration of the internship.
You choose and log the hours you work each week. I expect the position to take approximately 2-4 hours/week.
Pays $11/hour, paid out monthly via check or Paypal.
